How to Join a Tenant
Complete guide to joining a tenant on The FitCorp platform using an invitation link or QR code.
Two Ways to Join a Tenant
Choose the method that works best for you:
Method 1: Invitation Link
Click a link sent via email (6 steps)
Method 2: Scan QR Code
Scan a QR code in the app (8 steps)
Join with Invitation Link
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following ready:
- An email with invitation link
- Your email address
- A smartphone or computer
Receive Your Invitation Email
- •Coach or team admin sends you an email
- •Subject: "Your invitation to [Tenant Name] on The FitCorp"
- •Email contains an invitation link
- •Save or bookmark the email

Expected result: You have the invitation email with the link ready.
Open the Invitation Email
- •Check inbox for invitation email
- •If not found, check spam/junk folder
- •Open email from The FitCorp
- •Look for invitation link or "Accept Invitation" button

Expected result: You've found and opened the invitation email.
Click the Invitation Link
- •Locate the invitation link in email
- •It may say "Accept Invitation"
- •Click the link
- •You'll be taken to The FitCorp app or website

Important: Links may expire. If expired, ask admin for a new one. Click as soon as possible.
Expected result: You're taken to The FitCorp platform.
See "Accept Invite" Screen
- •After clicking, see "Accept Invite" screen
- •System automatically accepts if link is valid
- •Shows: "Accept Invite" title, purple checkmark icon, organization info

Expected result: The invitation link is valid and you see the accept screen.
Click "Go Home" Button
- •On "Organization Added" screen, locate "Go Home" button
- •Click "Go Home"
- •Taken to app's home
Expected result: You're taken to the app home/dashboard.
Join Your First Challenge
- •Look for "Challenges" section
- •Find a challenge to join
- •Tap "Join Challenge"
- •Confirm

Expected result: You've successfully joined a challenge and can start tracking.
Join with QR Code
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following ready:
- FitCorp app installed on your smartphone
- QR code from your coach or admin
- Smartphone camera
Receive Your QR Code
- •Coach/admin provides QR code via email

Expected result: You have the QR code ready to scan.
Look for "Scan QR Code" Option
- •On Settings screen, look for "Scan QR Code" button
- •Or look for camera icon or "Scan" option
- •Tap "Scan QR Code"

Expected result: You're taken to the QR code scanner screen.
Allow Camera Permission
- •App asks for camera permission
- •Tap "Allow"
- •Required to scan
Important: Camera permission is required. You can change it in phone settings. It is only used for scanning.
Expected result: Camera permission is granted.
Point Camera at QR Code
- •Hold smartphone up to QR code
- •Position in center of frame
- •Make sure clearly visible
- •Camera auto-detects and scans

Important: Keep steady, good light, don't move quickly. Scan is automatic.
Expected result: The QR code is scanned successfully.
QR Code Validated
- •App validates QR code
- •Confirmation message shown
- •System recognizes you're joining
Expected result: The QR code is validated and accepted.
See "Organization Added" Screen
- •Purple checkmark icon
- •"Organization Added" title
- •Message about managing tenants
- •Current organization card
- •"Done" button (purple)

Expected result: You've successfully joined the organization/tenant.
Join Your First Challenge
- •Look for "Challenges" section
- •Find a challenge to join
- •Tap "Join Challenge"
- •Confirm

Expected result: Successfully joined a challenge.

Troubleshooting
Invitation link is expired
- Ask admin for a new link
- Check email for a newer invitation
- Click immediately when received
- Contact support
- Links expire for security
QR code won't scan
- Ensure QR code is clearly visible
- Check lighting conditions
- Hold phone steady
- Move closer or farther away
- Try again or ask for a new code
Camera permission denied
- Go to phone settings
- Find FitCorp app
- Enable camera permission
- Go back and retry
- Restart app if needed
QR code is invalid or expired
- Ask admin for a new code
- Verify you have the correct code
- Check if the code has expired
- Try again

Can't find invitation email
- Check spam/junk folder
- Ask admin to resend
- Verify the correct email address was used
- Wait a few minutes

Organization not showing
