How to Use Activities

Complete guide to adding, tracking, and managing your activities in The FitCorp app. Track your fitness journey in multiple ways.

Before You Start

Make sure you have the following ready:

  • The FitCorp app downloaded and installed
  • Your profile set up and ready
  • Optional: Health Connect connected for auto-sync
  • Optional: GPS enabled for map data on recorded activities
  • Optional: Camera access for adding images to activities

For a seamless user experience and comprehensive activity tracking, The FitCorp application supports multiple ways to add and manage your activities. You can add activities manually, record them directly in the app, or sync from your connected health data.

Who Can Add Activities? Any FitCorp user can add activities to the app. No tenant connection is required - you can start logging your activities immediately after setting up your profile.

Adding Activities

You can add your activities to The FitCorp app in three convenient ways:

Manual Activity Entry

  • Tap the "+" button in the home page
  • Select "Manual Activity"
  • Enter activity details (sport type, duration, distance)
  • Add optional images to capture your workout
  • Save your activity

Record Activity in FitCorp

  • Tap the "+" button in the home page
  • Select "Record Activity" or navigate to Record tab
  • Start recording when ready
  • The app tracks distance, duration, pace, and route
  • Weather conditions are automatically recorded
  • Add photos after finishing
  • Save or discard when done

Sync from Health Connect

  • Connect Health Connect in your settings
  • Activities sync automatically in the background
  • Last 30 days of activities can be imported
  • View all synced activities in your feed
  • Add images to synced activities anytime

Adding Images and Videos to Activities

Adding Media When Creating Activities

  • While adding a manual activity or recording, tap the media section
  • Select to add images or videos from your gallery
  • Capture new photos or videos directly
  • Add multiple images and videos (up to 4 items)
  • Save your activity with media attached

Adding Media to Existing Activities

  • Go to your activity list in activity feed
  • Select any activity
  • Tap the edit or media button
  • Add new photos or videos
  • Save changes

Supported Media Types

Images: JPG, PNG, HEIC formats
Videos: MP4, MOV formats
Multiple media files per activity (up to 4 items)
Photos and videos stored securely

Activities from People You Follow

  • See activities from friends and connections
  • View images and videos in their activity feed
  • Like and comment on their workouts
  • Discover new activity types from others
  • Build a supportive fitness community

Map Data for Recorded Activities

Route Visualization

  • See your exact path on a detailed map
  • View your entire workout route at a glance
  • Track turns and direction changes
  • Identify key landmarks along your route

What Data Can Be Tracked

Activity type (running, cycling, swimming, gym, etc.)
Duration and distance
Calories burned
Heart rate (with connected devices)
Pace and speed
Elevation and terrain
Route maps (GPS activities)
Images and videos
Personal notes and descriptions

Deleting or Editing Activities

Editing an Existing Activity

  • Go to your activities list in activity feed
  • Select the activity you want to edit
  • Tap the edit button
  • Modify any details (Title, description, media)
  • Save your changes

Note: When editing, you can update only general information. Sport type, time, date, and distance cannot be changed.

Deleting an Activity

  • Go to your activities list in your profile or activity feed
  • Select the activity you want to delete
  • Tap the delete or options button
  • Confirm your selection
  • The activity will be permanently removed

Warning: When an activity is deleted, all associated progress and data will be permanently removed.

Managing Activity Privacy

  • Control who can see your activities in settings
  • Make specific activities private if needed
  • Adjust visibility for individual activities
  • Manage follower access to your feed

Troubleshooting

I can't add a manual activity

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try restarting the app and attempt again
  • Ensure all required fields are filled in

Map data is not showing for my recorded activity

  • Ensure GPS is enabled on your device before recording
  • Check that location permissions are granted to the app
  • Verify you were outdoors with clear GPS signal
  • Try recording again in an open area
  • Some indoor activities won't have map data

Activities are not syncing from Health Connect

  • Check that Health Connect is properly connected in your settings
  • Ensure "Auto Import" is turned ON
  • Verify you have a stable internet connection
  • Check that background app refresh is enabled for FitCorp
  • Try tapping "Sync Now" to manually import

I can't add images or videos to my activity

  • Make sure the app has camera and media library permissions
  • Check that your device has available storage space
  • Try selecting a smaller file or different format
  • Restart the app and attempt again
  • Verify the activity is not locked or archived
  • Check video length limits

Videos are not playing properly

  • Check that your video format is supported (MP4, MOV)
  • Verify your internet connection for streaming
  • Try re-uploading the video
  • Ensure the video file is not corrupted
  • Check available storage space on your device

Activities from people I follow are not showing

  • Verify you are actually following the person
  • Check your following list in your profile
  • Ensure those users have made their activities public
  • Restart the app to refresh your feed
  • Check your notification settings for activity feed

My activity data looks incorrect

  • Verify the data source (manual entry, recording, or Health Connect)
  • For recorded activities, check GPS signal during recording
  • Sync manually to get the latest data from Health Connect
  • Edit incorrect values manually if needed
  • Contact support if discrepancies persist
